Urban Nest PG ("we", "us") operates managed PG (paying-guest) accommodation properties in Kandivali East, Mumbai. This page explains what information we collect when you enquire with us or stay with us, and how we use it, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), 2023.

What we collect

Information you send us directly — your name, phone number, and any details you share when you message us on WhatsApp, call us, or fill out an enquiry form (preferred property, sharing type, move-in date).
If you become a resident: the identity and contact details needed for the leave-and-licence agreement, and any details required under standard PG/tenancy documentation.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry and check room availability.
To manage a booking or an active residency, including billing for metered utilities (like AC).
We do not sell your information to third parties, and we do not use it for purposes beyond running the accommodation and responding to your enquiries.

Our primary enquiry channel is WhatsApp. Messages you send us are handled the same way as any other enquiry — used to respond to you and, where relevant, keep a record of the enquiry. WhatsApp's own privacy policy also applies to messages sent through their platform.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept only as long as needed to respond to you or follow up on a booking. Resident records are kept for as long as required for the tenancy and any applicable legal or accounting requirement.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we're not required to keep it for a legal or contractual reason. Contact us using the details below.
